How can a website convert files without uploading them?
Modern browsers can run compiled code at near-native speed. Wemute ships its converters — including FFmpeg for video and audio — to your browser, which then processes files using your device's processor.
Does it work on my phone?
Image tools work well on phones. Video conversion works too but is slower and limited by the phone's memory, so very large videos are best converted on a computer.
